BALANCING YOUR WORK-LIFE

RATIONALE

So many people juggle between heavy workloads, managing relationships/family responsibilities, and squeezing in outside interests. It is no surprise that more than one in four Nigerians describe themselves as overly-stressed, which is not balanced or healthy. In a rush to “get it all done” at the office and at home, most workers tend to forget that as   stress levels peak, productivity plummets. Stress can zap concentration, cause irritation or depression, and harm personal and professional relationships. While we all need a certain amount of stress to spur us on and help us perform at our best, the key to managing stress lies in that one magic word: “Balance”.

With a Balanced Work-Life, one is better able to manage their time. This would bring about increase in productivity and give one a better control in all aspects of life. Therefore, this workshop will help its participants prioritise tasks, set accurate and achievable goals, and communicate better with peers at work and family at home.
