RATIONALE

Contingency Planning and Crisis Management is widely considered to be an essential role of public authorities thereby leading to lack of proper planning towards uneventful occurrences.

Research has shown that the way an organisation prepares for and responds to an emerging critical incident can have a huge impact on its long term sustainability and brand value. Effective Contingency Planning and Crisis Management can significantly reduce the negative impact of events thereby saving lives and enhancing organisation’s international reputation. Whatever the crisis, managing it effectively is essential to minimising damage to your organisation. This course  will help its participants  learn how to design and set up an effective  crisis management plan in order to ensure effective recovery in the event of a crisis.
